畢業於美國電影學院 Emerson College。至今，導演作品包含 MV、紀錄短片、時尚短片、及實驗短片。2023 年執導的 MV Truman (reborn) 於藝術平台 Nowness Asia 首映，並獲選為 Nowness Asia 年度最佳影片之一。2021 年執導的紀錄短片《循環建築》於聯合國氣候會議COP26上播出，宣揚台灣在循環經濟中，建築層面的發展。2019年執導的MV Redwood 入圍 1.4 Awards 新銳導演獎2015年執導的實驗短片 Mother’s Day Alternative 在波士頓當代藝術館 ICA 展出。
此外，2025年入選Casa Caché藝術駐村。其他作品登上 Vimeo Staff Pick, Boooooom.com, Womanly Magazine, Pond Magazine 等藝術平台。
Anna Kuo is a film director based in Taipei.
Anna’s works include music videos, doc shorts, fashion shorts, and experimental films. Her music video Truman (reborn) premiered on Nowness Asia in 2023, and was included in the Staff Pick’s Best of the Year list. In 2021, her documentary Circular Economy in Architecture screened at the global climate conference COP26, showcasing Taiwan’s efforts towards sustainability. In 2019, her music video Redwood was longlisted for 1.4 Awards On The Cusp Award. In 2015, her experimental film Mother’s Day Alternative screened at the Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston, as a part of the All Visual Boston showcase.
In 2025, she was awarded an artist residency at Casa Caché, and spent three weeks in Mérida, Yucatan in the summer. Her other works have been recognized by Vimeo Staff Pick, Boooooom.com, Womanly Magazine, and Pond Magazine.
Living a life spent between Taiwan and the US, Anna has developed an outsider’s point of view, and finds wonder in it all.
