Anna Kuo is a film director based in Taipei and Los Angeles.
Anna’s work includes music videos, fashion shorts, documentaries, and experimental films. Her work has screened at the Institute of Contermporary Art, Boston, and garnered recognition by Nowness Asia, Vimeo Staff Pick, Booooooom.com, 1.4 Awards, Womanly Magazine, and Pond Magazine. In 2021, her documentary showcasing Taiwan’s sustainability efforts in architecture was presented at the global climate conference COP26.
Living a life split between Taiwan and the US, Anna has developed an outsider’s point of view, yet finds wonder in it all.
